This week is really interesting because we will be taking a look at a number of different marketing tools that I have actually never seen. So this is exciting! I didn't know there were external sites outside of Google and YouTube Analytics to track data, this is something that's really interesting to look into.
The first site is Sprout Social and it looks relatively use friendly to use and it gives you a 30 day free trial. Looks like one of the cons it that its starts at $99 a month and that's stated to be more costly than others.
The next site is HootSuite and this is considerably cheaper than the previous Sprout Social, starting at $29 a month. It also looks like there is a free plan too which is great for new marketers, it says that one of the cons is limited tools.
Zoho Social looks like an affordable marketing application starting at $10 for individuals, but more expensive starting at $200 for agencies. Zoho offers a lot in terms of social media optimization like ability to track your data as well as organize your emails and product information.
Loomly and Social Pilot are management tools gears for businesses with teams more than individuals. Meet Edgar, Sendible are other options for a wide range of platforms and is also rather affordable with the smallest plan starting around the $19-$24 a month range.
The final one on this top list of social media marketing tools is Buffer which is geared towards small businesses. One interesting thing that could potentially be a big con is that it does not work with YouTube which is a really big platform. It looks affordable due the free plan and a $15 a month one that they offer.
I am currently not using one of these, I am definitely looking into starting one. I currently use youtube, facebook/instagram analytics so I'm trying to understand those a bit more. These management tools looks super useful though and I hope to start using one of them soon. HootSuite and Zoho look like two management tools that I could utilize.
Morgan,
ReplyDeleteGreat summary on the different social media management software options. Most of the applications offer a free trial period. That seems like a great way to compare each one and see what is the best for your business.
